2021 winner of a DTES Small Arts Grant
I take photographs of Vancouver and of youth and re-contextualize them into portraits of a fictional group of teenagers living in East Vancouver in the late 1970’s named The Foxhound Gang. By using iconic imagery of youth and transposing them on iconic imagery of the city of Vancouver and creating a new and fantastical reality from the two, I hope to create a sense of history that mingles harmoniously with a sense of both mystery and limitless possibility.
